Alana Kearns Green
Alana Kearns-Green has been acting in Los Angeles since her graduation from NYU in 2006. Her latest credits include an iPhone commercial for Qualcomm industrials, a music video for Cucu Diamantes, and her debut feature film, MARY MARIE, co-wrote and produced alongside director Alexandra Roxo.
Drawing on her multi-lingual skills and interests, Alana has had great success with the short LE RETOUR (director Rachel Earnest) following the film to over 50 film festivals worldwide. She has been nominated for two Best Actress awards for "Le Retour," and gained much praise for the performance. Fluent in French, she has great interest in bridging the gap between cultures and using film to do so.
She has collaborated with Rachel Earnest and Alexandra Roxo for many years. Roxo's IN PURSUIT OF THE POMEGRANATE has drawn Alana much attention on YouTube for her intimate improvisations with TWILIGHT actor Jackson Rathbone, and Rachel Earnest has recast Alana as the star of her feature film, LE SEJOUR PARADISIAQUE (currently in-production), shot entirely on-location in Cannes, France.
Alana's most recent work includes her first short film THE GLASS (self-written, directed and produced, 2011), and the psychological suspense short 4EVR, (directed by Donnybrook's Sergio Pinhero and written by Flashfilm's Joe Fordham, 2011), currently in post-production.
She is grateful for her career thus far, and looks forward to what the future will bring!
